EFCC nabs 14 more internet fraudsters



The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Lagos Zonal office, has paraded another set of  14 suspected Internet fraudsters, identified as : Abiola Kayode, Adeleye Adewale, Adeniyi Abiola, Favour Iruabo, Iyiola Olayemi, Lawal Remilekun and Martins Adetunji.



Others are: Obafunsho Oladipupo Samson, Olaleye Bamilola Hassan, Oseni Ridwan, Peter Ayobami Samuel, Peter Toluwabori, Prince Jibril Dirisu and Richard Jerry John.

The suspects according to Akanninyene Ezimo, Lagos Zonal Head of the Commission disclosed that the  suspects were arrested on Tuesday, in the Badore Seaside, Ajah area of Lagos State, following intelligence report received by the Commission about the activities if the men.






The Commission recovered exotic cars and laptops from the suspects, while there are plan to charge them to court as soon as investigations are concluded.

EFCC Zonal head, disclosed that the arrest is a pointer to the fact that the Commission is committed to sustaining its clamp down on perpetrators of cyber crimes, especially in line with its mandate to make the country free from corruption and economic and financial crimes.

2019 Hajj: Six Nigerian pilgrims die in Saudi Arabia

A middle aged woman, pilgrim from Lagos State, slumped and died in the early hours of Sunday morning in Mecca during the devil stoning ritual at Jamarat Aqaba, outside Mina, thereby bringing the number of Nigerian pilgrims that have died in this year’s Hajj in Saudi Arabia to six(6). The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria confirmed the death of the Nigerian pilgrims in Saudi Arabia .
