In a tweet obtained by this newspaper, she said, “With my encounter today(Wednesday), it’s safe to say some SARS officers are armed robbers. I was going for a movie shoot in Ikorodu today and armed members of SARS pulled us over & made us pay for no reason. Threatening they were going to waste our lives. I made a transfer so they can be traced.

The Assistant Commissioner of Police , ACP Yomi Shogunle, Head, Public Complaint Rapid Response Unit #PCRRU of the Nigerian Police Force, who received the petition of Princess Adegoke, acknowledged the complaint, adding that investigation has been initiated.

ACP Shogunle in a tweet claimed that the account owner has been identified as Inspector Charles Omotosho, FSARS Ikorodu, Lagos, arrested and is in custody. He said preliminary investigation is ongoing.

He said, “Her effort at identifying the officer is appreciated. We encourage Nigerians to speak out just as Princess Ife has done. Factual feed-backs are very helpful. Her case is being investigated. The officer in question, Insp. Charles Omotosho is in custody.

He further added, “ PCRRU will inform you on next line of action. Sorry for the experience.”

Princess Ife, in her remark, acknowledged the swift response of the PCRRU and efforts of ACP Shogunle.

It took years for the British public to accept Camilla as Charles’ new girlfriend and then wife in 2005, following the death of Diana, Princess of Wales. But over the decades, fans have warmed to the Duchess and credit her with supporting the future king and becoming his rock.     As Charles and Camilla celebrated their 17th wedding anniversary last weekend, let’s take a look at their enduring love story, which started in the seventies…   A chance meeting at a polo match in 1970 marked the beginning of Camilla Shand’s relationship with Prince Charles.
