Lagos BOMG mobilises support for Buhari/Osinbajo’s re-election in South-West

The Lagos State Chapter of the Buhari Osinbajo Mandate Group ( BOMG) has unveiled plans to mobilise support of people of the South West, South-East as well as Northerners who are resident in Lagos for the reelection of the Buhari/Osinbajo, in the 2019 general elections. The group made this known at a press conference held at the Lagos State Civil Service Club, Ikeja, Lagos State on Thursday.

Speaking on behalf of the group, Engr. Yomi Oyedeko, BOMG Lagos State Coordinator, disclosed that the group is positioned to galvanise votes in 2019 for the reelection of President Buhari and Vice-President Osinbajo through its existing structures in 20 Local Government, 37 LCDAs  and 245 wards within the state.

He revealed that President Buhari and Osinbajo are two social/political reformers, who have within three years of their administration reorganized the political landscape and positioned Nigeria for economic growth.

He said,"BOMG wishes to jointly without prejudice to our agenda , express without fear the landmark contributions of Buhari and Osinbajo’s administration that we have resolved to mobilize all registered voters in Lagos State and Nigeria to support this laudable aspiration.




“The administration since its assumption has implemented many social economic and welfare programmes to the advantage and benefits of downtrodden, one of which is social welfare and school feeding programmes. More importantly is the impact that the 10k trader Money loans has created in the lives of the beneficiaries.

He noted that the government had initiated and executed developmental programmes that gave it the reason to be reelected in 2019. He added that it is appropriate for the administration to be allowed in 2019 to consolidate on these programmes.

He therefore recommends the President and Vice President for valuable votes of Lagosians and Nigerian people at large, in February 2019 general elections.

Affirming support for the candidatures of President Buhari and Vice President Osinbajo, Chief Anselm Njoku, APC South-East Forum leader, disclosed that the entire people of South East are genuinely committed to voting for President Buhari in 2019.

 He added that the re-election of the President would serve as an opportunity for the Igboland to benefit immensely from the Buhari’s administration. He disclosed that supporting reelection bid of Buhari is the shortest cut to the realisation of the Ndigbo's social-political interest.

He therefore called on all interest groups in the South East to give the present administration the opportunity to complete projects it has commenced in Igboland.

Sheik Abubakar Mohammed, speaking on behalf Arewa community in Lagos State, affirmed the commitment of the Hausa community in Lagos State towards the reelection of President Buhari.

He noted that the Northerners who are residents of Lagos states are ready to massively vote for President Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo in the general elections.

Rosatom's TVEL, AllWeld Nuclear, industrial agree to cooperate nuclear backend area
