She made this statement in a tweet on Tuesday, via her official Twitter handle @HafsatMohBaba.
According to her, “ The unsung hero, in this very anticlimactic turn of events, is our dear Amina Zakari. She was bullied out of the logistics position in INEC and replaced by a male, Biafra-apologist Prof. Okechukwu Ibeanu. She has been vindicated, one of our very own Arewa Sheroes.
In her tweet, the Kaduna State Commissioner said, “I sent out that tweet, with the hope that a statement will be derivable from the discourse it will generate.
“The bullying of Amina Zakari included very condescending references to the office being bigger than her, a woman. There was also the reference to how her being a Northerner alone was enough reason for her to create a conflict of interest.
“I am saying never again will women be cowed into silence because the office is too big. Never again will people from the North be treated like a unit when bigots want to go on a tirade, especially condescending ones like those on Amina Zakari.

“I am not against Prof. Okechukwu y6 maleness or his being Pro-Biafra. It is just a polar opposite of Amina Zakari been female and from Arewa. These characters should not be allowed to limit one's occupation of any office in the land," the Commissioner tweeted.
She tweeted that historically, Biafra is indeed a controversial issue, adding that being a Biafra-apologist is not a bad thing, neither is being a male. Just like being pro-Arewa and female isn't bad.
The Commissioner further explained that the reference to Ibeanu's maleness & Biafracentrism in her "I told you" tweet was to create discussion. She added that she however did not get reasonable response from her critics.
