The Vice President, Professsor Yemi Osinbajo, has for the second time within 9 months, survived yet another helicopter crash, as his chopper crash- landed in Kabba, Kogi , while on campaign tour.
He, his entire crew and aides onboard the flight survived.
Shortly after the incident, the VP via his tweeter handle, @ProfOsinbajo, said, "We are safe and sound! Thank you to everyone who has expressed concern and thank you to the crew who managed the situation well. We believe that God will continue to keep us and Nigeria safe even as we go higher. We continue #NextLevelEngagements in Kabba, Kogi State.
In a tweet by his spokesman , Mr Laolu Akande, disclosed that the VP and all the occupants of the chopper are safe.
He said the VP left the scene of the incident unhurt, and had continued on his campaign trip after the incident.

Mr. Laolu said, "VP Osinbajo’ s chopper crash lands in Kabba. But he and the entire crew safe .
“ He is continuing with his engagements and plans for the day in Kogi State ” , he tweeted .
Recall, that earlier on Thursday June 8, 2018, a chopper conveying the VP from the Nigeria Customs Command and Staff College, Gwagwalada in Abuja, was forced to land, after emitting thick smoke mid-air few seconds after take off.
