Abba Kyari's IGP IRT rescues Magajin Garin, kidnapped Daura's district head in Kano



 One of Nigeria’s most brilliant Police officers, Abba Kyari and his team have facilitated the release of  District Head of Buhari’s village, Daura, Magajin Garin Daura, Alhaji Musa Umar Uba, after two months in captivity.



Recall that Alhaji Uba, was abducted in his Daura residence on May 1st, 2019 by gunmen, whike prepairing for morning prayer . He was freed on Tuesday morning through the combined efforts of the IGP Intelligence Response Team.

The spokesman for Katsina police command, SP Gambo Isah and some of his relatives , confirmed the development to the media.
SP Gambo Isah, confirmed his release in a brief post to newsmen.

“Magajin Garin Daura has been rescued. Congratulations to the entire people of Daura and Katsina state in general. Details follows,” he stated.

Magajin Gari, who is a senior traditional title holder in the emirate, is a younger brother to the Emir of Daura, Faruk Umar Faruk.

He is a retired Customs officer, who is married to Hajiya Biliki, a niece to President Muhammadu Buhari. He is also the father of Fatima, who is married to President Buhari’s Aide De Camp (ADC) Col. Mohammed Abubakar.

2019 Hajj: Six Nigerian pilgrims die in Saudi Arabia

A middle aged woman, pilgrim from Lagos State, slumped and died in the early hours of Sunday morning in Mecca during the devil stoning ritual at Jamarat Aqaba, outside Mina, thereby bringing the number of Nigerian pilgrims that have died in this year’s Hajj in Saudi Arabia to six(6). The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria confirmed the death of the Nigerian pilgrims in Saudi Arabia . Dr Ibrahim Kana , Chairman, National Medical Team, released the figure in Madinah from the commission ’s National Medical Team Electronic Health Medical Records. 6 more Abidjan returnees confirmed positive for Corona virus

Oredola Adeola Six(6) more Ivory Coast returnees to Ejigbo, a town in Osun State have tested positive for coronavirus, bringing the total number of cases in the state to 20 . Osun State, Commissioner for Health , Dr Rafiu Isamotu has confirmed to pressmen that all the 127 returnees had been tested and 18 of them had returned positive. Ealier, TheEditorialsng reported that Twelve(12) out of 127 Osun State returnees from Cote D'Ivoire heading to Ejigbo, a town in the state, have tested positive to the Corona virus . With the new development the number of positive cases in Osun has increased and have since been kept in the quarantine, while others who are in isolation are being tested.
