Sinach gives birth 5 years after marriage, wins 'Song of the year award" @LIMA19

Oredola Adeola| Nigerian gospel singer, Sinach, recently became a mother after five years of marriage to Pastor Joe Egbu. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome disclosed this at the just concluded Love World International Music and Arts Award (LIMA) held in Lagos at the Loveworld Convocation Arena on Sunday. The 46-year-old music minister received $100k (N36.2m) after winning the 2019 Song of the Year Award with her hit song "There’s An Overflow" , being the most distinguished award of the evening and the zenith prize. The song of the year was selected out of all winners in the best song category, Recall that she emerged as the 'Songwriter of the Decade’ at the first edition of LIMA Awards in 2016, Pastor Oyahilome while acknowledging her music success said, "Thank you for that song, we are all excited with what the Lord has done in your life, of course in the life of many others standing with you here we just love you. And I told them, you just had a baby! so everybody got excited." The UK Band swept numerous categories taking home awards for ‘Worship Song of the Year’ and ‘Music Band of the Year’. Their energetic and soulful song Shining was chosen as one of the ‘Best Songs of the Year.’ The UK Band received a $50,000 cash award for their win for ‘Song Writer of the Year (All Star Category)’. Gospel Fuji musician, Testimony Jaga's "Gone for Life" song won ‘Song Writer of the Year (Proto-Stars Category)’ and ‘Artist of the Year’ which included a $25,000 cash award. Frank Fytt was honored as ‘Producer of the Year’. Pastor Saki’s song Lights won the prize in the category for ‘Theme Song of the Year’. ‘Best Female Vocalist of the Year’, was won by Pastor Ruthney, while Eben, emerged as ‘Best Male Vocalist’. Samsong won award for ‘Video of the Year’ for his visually entertaining and catchy "E dey Work"

Oredola Adeola Wikimedia Nigeria Foundation has honoured Mr. Folorunsho Coker, Director-General of National Tourism Development Commission (NTDC) and Kayode Akintemi, Managing Director, Plus TV Africa, with Distinguished Personality Award for their contributions to the growth and development of open knowledge in Nigeria.
