Alhaji Comrade Abiola Azeez, ISTIJABAH, Chairman, Zone C, Tricycle Owners and Operators Association of Nigeria( TOOAN) has sworn-in new Zonal Executive members. The inauguration and swearing in ceremony was held on Wednesday, September 1, 2020, at the Lagos State Council Office, Abule-Egba, Lagos.
This is coming few months after the sad demise of the former Zonal Deputy Chairman, Late Alh. Akeem Ahmed, who passed-on in July, 2020.
During the inauguration, Comrade Fabunmi Rotimi, who was the former Assistant Treasurer of the Zone, was elevated to a new position as the Zonal Deputy Chairman, while Alh. Comrade Akeem Sabiu, was appointed as the new Zonal Assistant Treasurer.
Meanwhile, two new executive offices were created to expand the executive log from twelve (12) to fourteen (14). Filling the new offices are Comrade Olushola Billy, who was appointed as the Trustee of the Zone, while Comrade Abib was appointed as the Zonal Public Relation Officer (PRO).
In his remark during the inauguration, Alhaji Istijabah charged the new executive members to be committed to the activities of the union and join in efforts to rebrand the status of the union, working in alignment with the vision of the Lagos State Chairman, Alh. Musiliu Akinsanya (MC Oluomo).
He also encouraged them to stand by the oath of office which they swore to by upholding and defending the constitution of the union at all times.
According to him, the new officers must espouse the course of other members and serve as effective link between union and members. He urged them to put the interest of the union above personal interests.
As new Ambassadors of the Zone, Alhaji Istijabah asked the new executive members to serve as good stewards of the union and work for the collective growth of the union.
The swearing-in ceremony was attended by the Zonal Executive members and other members of the Lagos state Council.
Allen Atwiine, Uganda The TVEL JSC, Managing Company of Rosatom's Fuel Division, and AllWeld Nuclear and Industrial, a South African firm, have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation which is focused on decommissioning and radioactive waste (RW) management at nuclear facilities in South Africa.
