The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwoolu has indicated plan to relax the 24hours curfew imposed to address tension generated during the #EndSARS protest in the state.
The Lagos State Governor made this known while responding to questions on Morning Show, Arise TV on Thursday over the Lekki Shooting and the aftermath of the destruction on Wednesday, October 21, 2020.
According to him, In response the curfew could be likely lifted to allow Lagosians re-stock on food and critical household items, promising to ease it within 24 hours after evaluating the situation on the ground.
Sanwoolu said, “The Government is looking at easing the lockdown in the state in the next 24 hours, after evaluating the situation on the ground around the state. This is to allow residents to get access to food and other provisions they might be running out of.”
