You will vomit all you've stolen before you go – Pastor Bakare tells Tinubu

Pastor Tunde Bakare, overseer of the Latter Rain Assembly (LRA), has cautioned Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, former Lagos state Governor,to be ready to vomit all he has stolen before he goes. LG’s air conditioner with health benefits unveiled first in Nigeria, after South Korea

Oredola Adeola Nigeria has become the first country in the Middle East and Africa to witness the launch of LG’s ThinQ DualCool Premium Air Conditioner, the first major breakthrough in the electronic devices that is equipped with health benefits. The product unveiling was held at the Sheraton Hotels and Towers, Ikeja on Friday. Lagos flood kills 11-year old boy , rescuer

Floods swept an 11-year-old boy and his rescuer, simply identified as Wasiu away at Aboru, Iyana-Ipaja in Alimosho area of Lagos on Saturday. The victims were swept away at a canal linking Aburo and Iyana-Ipaja on Ige Road. The News Agency of Nigeria correspondent, who visited the scene of the accident observed a huge crowd wearing sad faces due to the incident that occurred following the overflow of water from the canal. It was gathered that two young boys sent by their parents to buy cooking gas at a gas station fell into a drainage that serves as a channel to the canal. Three young men attempted rescuing the boys and succeeded in rescuing the older one, but one of the rescuers popularly known as Wasiu Stubborn was swept away while trying to rescue the other victim. Kenya's Eliud Kipchoge breaks marathon world record, completes 26.2miles in 1hr59mins

Oredola Adeola | Kenya's Eliud Kipchoge has set a new world record by completing 26.2miles in 1 hour, 59 minutes and 40 seconds at Vienna, Austria, emerging as the first to hit the milestone in the athletic performance. The 34-year-old was 11 seconds ahead of schedule halfway through his run, at the Vienna's Prater-Hauptallee (main avenue) The Kenyan therefore becomes the first athlete to run a marathon in less than two hours,since Roger Bannister broke the four-minute mile in 1954. Rwanda launches Africa's biggest smartphone plant

Oredola Adeola | Rwandan President Paul Kagame has launched Mara Phones manufacturing plant in Kigali, Rwanda thereby joining South Africa and Egypt in the battle for African tech-revolution. Recall that South Africa's Onyx was the first African-made smartphone, followed by Egypt's SICO/ Nile X smart phone. The Rwandan's Maraphone was established to improve citizen's access to digital services, and it is operated by the Mara Group. Maraphone is expected to be the first high specification, affordable smartphone manufactured in Africa. The phone has a warranty and it can be purchased in installments over two years. Man stabs Alagbado DPO, two other officers

Oredola Adeola | Adeshina Taiwo, 60 year-old, has attacked , CSP, Yaya Mohammed, Divisional Police Officer attached to Alagbado, in an attempt by the Police to detain him for an undisclosed offence. The Editorials gathered that Mr. Taiwo was arrested and brought to the Police Station for detention and prosecution, but he struggled with the officers insisting that he did not commit any offence that warrant his arrest. Ibadan-Ilesa, Minna-Lambata roads get additional N15billion

Oredola Adeola| The Federal Executive Council (FEC) has approved additional N15.765 billion for Suleja-Minna-Lambata road and Ibadan-Lagere-Ilesa bypass. This was disclosed by Mr Babatunde Fashola, Minister of Works and Housing,while briefing pressmen at the end of the FEC meeting, chaired by President Muhammadu Buhari. Recall that at the September 26, FEC meeting presided over by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, the Council initially approved N79.8billion for the Ibadan- Ilesha –Ife dual carriageway.It was a single length highway until it was awarded in 2013 by the previous administration in phase one.
